Behind the Video

You guys, this has been a LONG time coming, and I am so proud of this video! When I received the Red Backpack Grant from the SPANX by Sara Blakely Foundation in May 2020, I knew I had to do something magical...something BIG. Y’all know that I design and create jewelry, but many times, folks don’t realize the technical level of what we have going on here. I’ve far surpassed my origins of making macaroni necklaces as a child. I mean, really, I think it’s pretty darn cool! BUT how could we bring each and every one of you into the studio to fully understand my creative process, my world? That’s when the idea of a behind-the-scenes video was born!

Fortunately, I met the perfect videography team to bring this idea to life. Shout out to Tremble Productions for their masterful work of translating my jumbled ideas onto the “big screen.”  Their equipment was amazing and very legit. I felt like a star and they made me look OH-SO-GOOD! They totally got me and the reason I adore what I do. I think they even became a little nerdy about the processes that I geek out about on a daily basis. 

The machinery and technology used to capture my work on video was so cool!
