A big thank you, to my mom.
It just so happens that my mom is the person that introduced me to the world of crafts and design when I was a little kid. She showed me how to safely use a hot glue gun, exacto knife, paper cutter, and sewing machine among other things. She stressed the importance of paying attention to the details and making sure seams were aligned, edges were cleaned, and the overall look was on point.
You see, her background was in fashion technology and she could, and still can, cut a pattern and sew up a masterpiece with ease. Turns out this apple didn't fall too far from that tree...same principles different medium. Little did she know what I would be up to 22 years later and all thanks to her! So this Mother's Day, I'm sending a lot of extra hugs to my mom....and a special pair of earrings (shhhhhh don't tell her!).
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms (dog and cat moms, like me, included!) and a special bit of love for moms like my Nanny who is looking down from above. 💕
