Custom Jewelry

Nobody knows the vision for your custom, exquisite jewelry design better than you.  Let’s meet and discover how brilliant your project can be. You talk, tell us your story, we listen.  We’ll share what we know.  We’ll work with you to design and create what you desire.  We have a proven four-phase process that allows us to manage your project from conception to completion.

Client Design Meeting

A well-designed exquisite piece of jewelry is about more than looks alone, it’s about harmony, balance, and unity.  We begin your project with a Client Design Meeting where we discuss your ideas, budget, sizes (ring, wrist, chain length, scale, etc.), timeline, and key features.  We use the information we obtain from this meeting to give you the most accurate estimate as possible.

We will work closely together during this phase communicating on a daily to weekly basis.  We will then provide you with 2-3 hand drawn sketches based on the ideas we discussed during our design meeting.  This phase also allows for revisions to those sketches, and then ends with a final design being chosen.

CAD / Hand Fabrication

This phase begins with initial “rough” renderings based on your chosen final hand sketched design.  One to two rounds of feedback and revisions ensue, depending on the complexity of the project.  We will then present you with a final set of design renderings for your approval.

Our jewelry is created using the latest tools, machinery, and processes combined with traditional hand craft skills, so that this custom engagement ring is of the highest quality.  This phase is by far the most intense phase, and begins with the prototyping and casting process.  This particular process takes 10-14 business days. The casting process is followed by a round of precise cleaning and hand polishing. This transforms the rough mounting into a beautiful mounting, ready to have diamonds set.

The setting of your gemstones is the most exciting and labor intensive part of our process.  Using the skills learned under the guidance of Blaine Lewis, master stone setter and renowned jewelry expert, Kristen carefully and methodically prepares the seats for the diamonds and does the setting by hand.

At this point the ring springs to life, and is given a thorough cleaning and polishing.  Your one-of-a-kind piece is now ready for its final stage, a special photoshoot.
